TPT Day of Giving

Hello Teachers!  We are absolutely thrilled to take part in the first ever Teachers Pay Teachers Day of Giving which will take place on September 27th, 2018!  TPT Authors are coming together to make a change by donating 100% of their profits to charities of their choice. On this special day, you can get what you need for your classroom AND make a wider difference to the world. It's a win-win!!! The educators of Double Dose of Learning have chosen to donate to Tiny Paws Big Hearts, a local animal rescue group in Buffalo NY that works to rescue dogs, nurse them to health and rehome them. Animal rescue is something that both Stephanie and Kelly are passionate about. Stephanie adopted two adorable adult Maltese puppy mill rescues named Opal and Rosie. What are Social Studies Pocketbook Units?  Find all of your answer here! Pocketbook   units   consist of a  science  or  social studies  topic for the first, second, third or fourth grade classroom. This post will include photographs of the social studies units. Each student created their own pocketbook to store their work throughout the unit which serves as a comprehensive portfolio. Parents and administrators LOVE this idea of showcasing student learning!! H ow do students benefit from learning through pocketbooks ? Pocketbook units are multimodal resources that capitalize on different learning styles amongst students.
